Looking for some good ol’ honky tonks? You’ll find ‘em in Music City! This town is teeming with small, intimate bars where good music is found in abundance. The iconic Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, just across the alley from the Ryman Auditorium and a staple in Nashville culture, has endured for decades and is considered a Nashville country music institution and world-famous honky-tonk. While many others have come and gone, Tootsies remains. From its earliest days in the 1960s, Tootsie’s has been home to legendary artists and performers such as Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Roger Miller, Waylon Jennings, and Patsy Cline.
